Scrappy Quilt As You Go part 1

So I have a long history is sewing.  I learned to sew at 9 or so years old and then did tailoring of my own clothing in highschool.  But other than knowing how a machine works, sewing was not really my passion, more like another fiber related thing to just kinda know.

Recently I have gotten into quilting.  Meaning, I have no idea what I am doing and, after watching about what feels like 800 YouTube videos on it, am trying my hand at it.  

I pulled out a bunch of reds, oranges and yellows.  I count many browns in the orange or yellow category and started sewing, kinda in a haphazard way til I got a square.

My squares are 10 inches.
